Dofody is simple to use online doctor consultation platform, where a user can create an account and add family members within the same account. This means that one user account is enough for the whole family. In this article I will show you how you can add your family members, so let’s get started.
STEP 1: Go to www.dofody.com and click on the “Login” button on the top of the homepage.
Click “User Login”. If you don’t have an account, read this article on how to get started with Dofody.
STEP 2: Enter your e-mail/Mobile number and the password in the respective fields and click on the “Sign In” button.
You will be now Logged into the dashboard as seen below.
STEP 3: On the left side of the dashboard there will be a navigation menu with a list of options, click “Members”.
After this, you’ll be redirected to add member page and select ‘Add Member‘ on the top right of the page as shown below.
Enter your family members details in the corresponding fields.
Note: Giving details on relevant past medical conditions will be useful for the doctors.
‘Past medical conditions’ like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attacks, stroke or infectious diseases like tuberculosis, pneumonia should be entered in this field. In the “History of surgeries/allergies” field, tell us about any surgeries that you have undergone in the past with the year of doing it. For eg: appendix surgery in 2012 or surgery for fracture of leg in 2010. “History of medicines taken” is a field where the names of medicines you have taken in the past or your current medicines should be entered. It will be really helpful if you can provide the generic mean of the medicine, that is the chemical content of the medicine. If that is not possible, simply type in the brand name of the medicine and your doctor will sort it out. And click ‘Save profile’ at the bottom of the page.
After clicking on the “Save profile” button you can continue with the dashboard and consult a Doctor. Next time when you try to consult a Doctor online, you will be first prompted to choose a family member for whom the consultation is intended. You can add more family members and there is no limit to the number of family members that you can add with one primary account. This gives the user the ease of having one account in Dofody without the hassle of handling multiple accounts.
